Poem: Life’s Opened Eyes

Life’s Opened Eyes_Boss Mom Alchemist Poem

I try to see the good in you
I try to experience bliss
I try to see a brighter side
A higher side
Life has my mind racing late nights
There is reality or illusion
This reality isn’t for fools
They rather stay sleep
Then to look you in your eyes
And see the truth
On some real sh*t, I can’t deny you
I can’t avoid you
Every day I breathe you
I feed you
On some real sh*t, I can’t deny you
I had to check my ego and my pride at times
However, I can’t deny how I feel inside
They want to tear me down never build me up
They see everything in me
Surface
I lose myself, sweet endorphins
Stop it.
Kumbaya in some moments
Yet I feel empty inside.
Other moments I am jaded.
I am looking to get faded.
I can’t deny that I need to deny you.
Space out into another dimension
Life’s opened eyes
Need to be closed
Finished.
