Being a mom is already a full-time job. Add entrepreneurship and content creation into the mix, and it can feel like you’re being pulled in every direction at once. Yet, over the years, I’ve learned how to become a content creation machine while raising my daughter and running businesses. I obtained my first client at the age of 14 years old. Entrepreneurship is in my bones and just because I became a mom didn’t mean I would stop showing up in my businesses.
I didn’t do it by working 24/7 or trying to be perfect. Instead, I used structure, focus, and tools like to help me create consistently without burning out. Thank goodness for Ai today, I use it as it is like my assistant.
In this post, I’m going to share my journey—how I wrote my first self-published book while nesting with my child, how I’ve continued to write ebooks as a mom, and how I manage my content creation system today. I’ll also share 10 powerful reasons why every busy mom should be using ChatGPT to simplify her content strategy and save precious time.
And at the end, I’ll show you how to access 550+ ChatGPT Prompts for Entrepreneurs—a resource that has saved me countless hours and allowed me to show up authentically while still being productive.
My Journey: Writing While Nesting
When I wrote my first self-published book, I was in one of the most intense seasons of my life—nesting with my child. Instead of scrolling endlessly on my phone, I chose to pour my “scrolling time” into writing.
It wasn’t easy. Some days I wrote in between naps, other days I wrote in short bursts when I could find the mental space. But over time, those small pockets of effort added up to a complete manuscript.
That experience taught me two important lessons:
-
Consistency matters more than long hours. Ten minutes of focused writing every day beats waiting for “perfect conditions” that never come.
-
Your time is your most valuable resource. If you’re spending it scrolling, you’re giving your creativity away. Redirecting even a fraction of that time to creation changes everything.
My System: Quarterly, Monthly, Weekly
Fast forward to today, and I’ve developed a content creation system that helps me stay organized and on track while still being present as a mom.
